Valve World Asia Expo 2026 was successfully held in Shanghai. The exhibition showcased special valves for extreme working conditions including coal chemical, metallurgy, deep-sea oil & gas and nuclear power industries, with wear-resistant metal hard-seated ball valves, ultra-low temperature LNG valves and high-temperature control valves as highlights. Experts at industry forums pointed out three core development directions for the sector: new wear & corrosion resistant materials, integrated intelligent control, and customized complete set solutions. Domestic valve manufacturers need to increase investment in R&D of special working condition products to seize market shares in domestic engineering supporting and overseas aid export projects supported by localization policies.
